shrooms worked for me!

I am chronic and suffer from 8 ha
a day. I also suffer from migraines.
I stopped taking my meds(geodon 80mg,
lithium 900mg, effexor 225mg, topamax 50mg) on
Wed. I continued to use imitrix ns.
On Friday morning I consumed 4 grams of
unknown species and reached level 3. On
Sat. night I started taking my medicins again.
As soon as I eat the
shrooms I noticed a difference in the way I felt.
The shadows left immediatly. I have
not had any ch or shadows since and that was 46
days ago.
I did get one migraine that lasted
for 2 days.However, I usually get 4 migraines a
month and this is the first one so I am doing
really good in that area as well.
The way I
feel I feel like I could go another month or 2 pf
time will tell. It has been such a
blessing.

And thanks for the details on the
meds...it's interesting aboout the Imitrex. How
long was it between taking the Imitrex and taking
the shrooms?
Pinky suspects that
Imitrex and the other triptans may interfere with
psilocybin, so its noteworthy tht didn't seem to
happen in your case. Of course you took a pretty
good size dose...hope things went smoothly.
And are you still taking the other
medications? Are they to control your migraines?

Your system was quite
saturated with meds. I would think, as
Tommy said, the size of your dose may have had
something to do with your success.

ate the shrooms. I am currently taking my
medications. They are for depression and
ch. However, on a good day with my meds I
was still having 4+ ha a day so that is how I can
tell the shrooms are still working.

That is
great news. I didn't completely detox off
of my meds either and I had great success as
well. This is exactly why we need a real
clinical trial done so that all this info can be
known. Some real chemical experts and MD's
on board would better enable us to understand
drug interactions. Well once again congrats

Hooray! Forty six days? That's
just great! How long has it been since you went
46 days in a row without a CH? That's just the
most WONDERFUL news, Karla -- I know you have had
a VERY tough time with your personal demon and I
am tickled pink (or even pinker) that you are
painfree.

Yes, it seems that migraineurs
don't always get the same length of remission
from a dose of mushrooms that we clusterheads do.
This is probably because the mechanism that
causes migraines is different from that which
causes CH. Psilocybin DOES have an effect on
migraineurs, though... I know of several
clusterheads who have migraineur buddies who
experimented with mushrooms after hearing about
it. Some had great success, others not as great,
but in every case I know of the migraineur in
question ALWAYS got at least some relief.
Congratulations again on your
remission. I know you had been thinking of trying
this therapy for a LONG time. Glad to hear you
finally took the plunge.
