Rex Tangle is a master of the three way relationship among composer, music and listener. Rex combines those qualities that permit art to reflect society and life with humor and fascinating new sounds.

http://www.rextangle.net/

Rex Tangle was born in August of 1965 in a small town in France near the Swiss and German border. His first exposure to rock music was when he was only 2 days old. His father took his bouncing baby boy and positioned speakers on each side of the crib. Then he cranked the Rolling Stones' song "Satisfaction". Talk about a warm welcome to this world. By the age of three, he expressed his interest in music by playing everything he would hear on the radio, on his dad's piano, using one finger.

"For me, music is literally about color. C# is yellowish, G is purple, D is green, etc. Thanks to psychedelics, I am alive and well enough to play what I love. When I was worse off, I couldn't "see the colors" in my head while I played. Now they're back!" - Justin
